One Year in Review...weiveR ni raeY enO!

Wow!  I guess I am a lot worse at this "keeping everyone updated" thing than I thought.  Sorry friends and family.  I really do understand that this is something I should seriously work on, and I vow to do so.  

It's been just shy of one year since I last blogged, so....maybe I'll just go timeline-style and share a year in the life of a Blaire.  

April 2008 - EasterFest at Fingal Fellowship Church, Fingal Head, NSW.

May 2008 - Island Breeze Australia makes a spontaneous move to North Brisbane, both very stressful and very exciting to start a new building project at original location.  

June 2008 - Island Hopping DTS starts, 9 students from 5 different nations.  Three Leaders:  Kaleb, Bradley and Blaire.

July 6, 2008 - Aunty Blaire welcomes a new nephew, Lincoln James (wishes she could hold him)

July - August 2008 - DTS is on the road to attend lectures at multiple locations:  Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Fingal Head, and good Ol' Shaftesbury.

September 2008 - DTS prepares for Outreach to New Zealand and Cook Islands.  Mucho Funds needed, and God came through baby!!!

October 2008 - A month with the beautiful youth in Welcome Bay, New Zealand.  Personally the best outreach I have ever been a part of.  

November 2008 - A month in the very tropical island:  Rarotonga, Cook Islands.  Had a good impact and great fellowship with the boys at Rock College(Men's prison).

November 28, 2008 - Island Hopping DTS Graduates!!!  Momma Duck (me) finds it hard to release the beautiful duckies, but knows that God has GREAT and EXCITING plans for them all.

December 2008 - Time to RELAX, AHHHHHhhhhhh

January 2009 - "HAPPY NEW YEAR" from New Zealand.  Waited out the pricy Holiday Airfare to come home in New Zealand.  Had the great pleasure to revisit the great friends made in October.  

January 12, 2009 - Journey back to the USA.  Thoughts upon arrival:  "BRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrR!"  haha.  So happy to finally hug the family, and hold the newphews.  Missed you all so much, there aren't even the words to explain. 

February 2009 - Back to work at Cheers, I mean SHENANIGANS!!!!  Love this place and so blessed to have my old job back.  

March 2009 - Right now!  Preparing to return to Australia for another year on ministry.  Departing South Dakota the beginning of June.
